To celebrate Black History month, Year 3 found out more about the inspirational achievements of Lilian Bader. Lilian was one of the first black women to join the British Armed Forces. She also tried throughout her life to make a difference to the lives and treatment of black and mixed heritage people in the UK. We found her story remarkable and her contributions to society invaluable. We also found out more about Mary Seacole who was our STEM hero this week.
