In Year 3 this term we have been learning about digital animation. We made flicker books to make pictures move using traditional pens and paper. We then used an animation app called ‘I-Movie’ on the iPads to make our own digital animations. We learned about freeze frames, graphics, onion skinning, graphic overlay and took photos which we then used to make our own animation clips. We compared the two and all agreed that digital animation is a far superior method….bring on the next Walt Disney!!
