In Design Technology, Year 3 have been making pneumatic toys. We looked at pneumatic systems and how they are used in everyday contexts. Our toys used air as a pneumatic element to make it move. We had to research and develop a design criteria then create a functional, fun and appealing product. We communicated our ideas through discussion, annotated sketches, cross-sectional and exploded diagrams. We then made the toys using a range of design techniques. The finished products exceeded our expectations. We hope that you are impressed!
