Nursery have been learning about animal life cycles and how animals grow and change. We read ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ by Eric Carle and used the story to help us order the life cycle of a butterfly from the little egg on the leaf, to the very hungry caterpillar, to the cocoon he built before becoming a beautiful butterfly. We are watching our own caterpillars closely in Nursery as they grow and change. They have been eating lots and have become very big over the last week. We are waiting patiently to see them make a cacoon before becoming butterflies which we will set free in the garden. We know so much and are experts now! Why not ask us about what we have learnt?🐛 🦋
