Year 3 have been looking at rocks in science. Today, we looked at rock samples and grouped them according to their properties. We discovered that rocks can be igneous, metamorphic or sedimentary and these are made in different ways. We investigated which rocks were the most porous by immersing them in water and weighing them on a scale. We really enjoyed working scientifically and were fantastic geologists!
