Year 3- NFU Live Lesson- Year 3 took part in a live science lesson hosted by the National Farming Union. The lesson was live and was beamed directly from a pig farm. We learnt about vertebrates/ invertebrates and how pigs are reared, grow and develop. Did you know pigs can communicate through sound? We saw pig cam footage of tiny newborn piglets that had only been born this morning! We also met Rex the sheepdog. We discovered that life on a farm can be difficult. We also discovered the connection between food and farming.
