Year 3 Prehistoric Art- As a follow up to our ‘Stone Age to Iron Age’ topic, Year 3 are learning techniques in art to create prehistoric paintings. We have been sketching animals and have looked at how drawing simple 2D shapes can help us to draw more complicated objects. Today, we scaled up our sketches and had a go at drawing with charcoal. We can’t wait to continue next week and look forward to creating artwork using natural pigments.
