Today, year 3 took part in a primary engineering competition. We had to answer the question ‘If you were an engineer, what would you do?’ We had to think about a problem and invent a new and innovative solution. We drew our inventions and wrote a letter to the judges to explain what our product is, how it works and who it would help. We recently had an engineer in school and met online with James May, a Lego and toy designer. We found out that careers in STEM subjects are for everyone, and that engineering is everywhere!
