To hook them into their new history topic ‘1000 Years of Crime & Punishment’ Year 6 had a visit from a medieval executioner yesterday! They learned about how crimes and the ways in which they were punished have changed over the different periods of history and got to explore some replica artefacts. They took part in drama activities which showcased their acting abilities and took part in a witch hunt as well as listening to stories and seeing if they could match crimes to their respective punishments. A great day was had by all!
