Year 6 have enjoyed a lovely visit this afternoon to the Bilal Jamia Mosque in Newcastle. We were lucky enough to observe the afternoon prayer in the main hall and take part in a question and answer session with the Imam. We were made to feel very welcome and learned a lot about the Muslim faith. We ended the day with games and refreshments and are now heading back to school with a much greater knowledge of Islam having experienced it first hand.
