Year 4 have been learning about Black History month. Black History month is a time set aside each year in October in the UK to celebrate the achievements of black people in the past and today.

Year 4 focused their learning on the actress, TV presenter and author Baroness Floella Benjamin. For most of her life Floella has worked to improve the lives of the UK’s youth. She has raised thousands of pounds for charity.
