Last week, Year 6 attended the South Shields Fire Station for the RAP event. This stands for ‘Reducing Accidents at Play’ and the children took part in various scenarios to teach them all about how to stay safe in the local area when not in the company of a trusted adult. Their behaviour was excellent and they learned lots of important facts which they will hopefully have shared with their grown-ups.
