Year 1 have enjoyed their Art lessons this half term, focusing on mark making and drawing. Over the weeks, children have explored a variety of lines, using vocabulary such as horizontal, vertical, diagonal, cross-hatched, wavy and broken. They have been drawing through observation, using a range of media such as pencils, chalk, charcoal, pastels and felt tip pens. Here are some pictures from our final lesson, where the children have applied all that they have learnt this half term. They have worked super hard and produced some impressive work!
