In Year 3, we have been looking at stop frame animation. This is a filmmaking technique where physical objects are moved in tiny increments and photographed one frame at a time, creating the illusion of independent movement when played back rapidly, like a super-powered flipbook. We compared this to the handmade flipbooks we made earlier and agreed this is a much easier, quicker and effective method. We had lots of fun and can’t wait to try this again!
