Today, we tested the strength of magnets by planning and carrying out an investigation. We used a bar, button and horseshoe magnet and counted the number of paper clips they could hold. We discussed the variables we would change and those that would remain the same to make it a fair test. We recorded our results in a table and a bar chart and made a conclusion. We really enjoy being practical ‘hands on’ scientists.
