This term Year 5’s art topic is architecture. We started the unit with an observational drawing of a house. We then used a viewfinder to focus in on a small part of the house which we drew and then created a monoprint using ink. We also looked at Zaha Hadid, an architect from Iraq and the very modern buildings she designed around the world. We took inspiration from her and designed our own futuristic buildings.
