Year 5 visited the Openzone at The Word on Friday to take part in programming robots and microbits. They built Lego robots and programmed them to dance. Then they programmed microbits to display flashing hearts, names, to play rock, paper, scissors and much more. By the end of the session, they had even managed to program it to become a pet hamster which they could shake to make him sad or stroke to make them happy! It certainly was a fun day!
