Mrs Simpson recently applied for a grant for reading books from the Foyle Foundation and we have been lucky enough to have been awarded £5,000 to spend on books!!
Over the past week the books which we ordered have been arriving in school. We now have some fantastic new reading for pleasure books and sets of phonically decodable Dandelion books to complement our Sounds Write phonics programme and Oxford Reading Tree books for KS2.
