Today in year 3, we carried out an investigation to find out if the distance of a light source affects the size of a shadow. We thought about how to make a fair test, which variables we would change and which we would keep the same. We recorded our results in a table and made conclusions based upon our findings. We also looked at the size of a shadow over the course of a day, and watched a ‘Britain’s got Talent’ shadow puppet act which was really impressive.
